Really ... I wont be surprised if we see the Saudi version of Hana Yori Dango !!!!
For those who don't know , This is a popular Japanese manga and later it was made as a drama. Briefly , It's about a strong poor girl facing the infamous F4 group which is a group of 4 handsome guys (supposedly).... and of course the amazing love story between her and the one she hates the most !
As I said this is originally a manga... and I started with it long time ago... it's so much fun to read , honestly it's way more exciting than the drama.
The first who turned this manga into drama was the Taiwanese version (Meteor Garden) , umm it's cheap , I mean low quality and the main actress is annoying . In terms of the hotness of the actors, well... the guys aren't bad and they look like men so that's enough for them !
Ironically , the Japanese version (Hana Yori Dango) came after the Taiwanese... I have to admit that it's a very well produced drama, it's obvious that they've spend a lot of efforts in the production and the quality . The actress is so talented and she knew how to do her role. As for the guys, well I only can say that they're not my type, but they're talented so you can't hate them !
Unfortunately , when the Korean version (Boys over Flowers) came out, I already had enough of this story. I only watched the first 8 episodes :P , cuz I totally loved how they started liking each other. To tell the truth , it's obvious to anyone that the Korean version is the best , the production is amazing , the girls and the guys are talented an so cute.
And the prove of the success of this drama (Korean Version ),is this photo... It's so popular in Japan, you can see posters of the actors (F4) everywhere. I took this photo in a station in Tokyo.
And now... the most recent version , The Chinese Meteor Shower. I'm so not gonna watch it... oh I really wish not to watch it, and not to be tempted by the reviews I read which say it's kinda different and interesting ... but I know one thing for sure , the main actor is not my type !
